This Privacy Policy explains how tilwhen ("we", "us") handles information when you use tilwhen.com. In short: our calculators run entirely in your browser, we use privacy-respecting analytics, and any advertising follows Google's consent requirements.

Information we collect

Data you enter into the tools (dates, birth dates) is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
Saved countdowns are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser storage removes them.
We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email, or other personal details to use the site.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and secure the site. This is used for operation and security, not to build profiles of you.

Cookies and similar technologies

tilwhen does not set cookies for its own functionality. Cookies or similar identifiers may be set by third parties for advertising (see below). Where required, these are only used after you consent.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (such as which tools are popular and overall traffic levels). It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not identify you personally.

Advertising

tilwhen may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads and, with consent where required, to personalize them.

In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent tool to obtain your consent before any personalized advertising cookies are used, in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data:

EEA / UK (GDPR): rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for advertising at any time. The legal basis for advertising cookies is your consent; for security and site operation it is our legitimate interest.
California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners' use of cookies may be considered "sharing" for targeted ads; you can opt out via the consent controls and your Google ad settings.

Children's privacy

tilwhen is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International visitors

tilwhen is served from a global content delivery network. By using the site you understand that technical request data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
